Abstract: This study was carried out to ascertain the Perception of students on lecturers computer literacy skills Acquired and Used in teaching and learning in South East Colleges of Education, Nigeria. Two research questions guided the study while one null hypotheses were tested at 0.05 alpha level..  Design of the study was a descriptive survey. The population comprised 2,102 lecturers and 10,500 students in all the seven colleges of Education in south east Nigeria.  The sample size was 630 and 450 drawn from the population using accidental sampling technique. The instrument for data collection was structured questionnaire titled Computer Literacy Skills Use Questionnaire (CLSUQ) which contain 20 items questions on computer literacy skills and was validated by two experts all from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University The reliability of the instruments was established Cronbach alpha technique for CLSUQ to test for internal consistency of the items which yielded reliability index of 0.82 respectively. A total of 671 and 510 copies of instrument were distributed to respondents but 630 and 450 copies were collected and properly filled given 94% return rate. Data collected were analyzed using mean, standard deviation and independent sample t-test. The findings of the study reveal among others that, lecturers often use Microsoft word in teaching and learning. Furthermore, Internet operation, microsoft powerpoint and microsoft excel were rarely used by Colleges of Education lecturers for teaching and learning.  More so, there is a significant difference in the mean score of lecturers usage of computer literacy skills in teaching and learning differs significantly. Based on the findings of the study, it was recommended among others that colleges of education lecturers should constantly update their knowledge in computer skills for teaching and research through constant practices, conferences, seminars and workshops.

Abstract: This study focuses on the educational reform of the "Everyone is Their Own Entrepreneurship Mentor" course at a university in Guangdong Province. Through theoretical frameworks and literature review, it explores the development background of innovation and entrepreneurship education, particularly the role of ideological and political education in cultivating students' innovative spirit and social responsibility. The reform includes a shift from theoretical knowledge to practical skills, adjustments in course content and teaching methods, aiming to strengthen ideological and political education and develop students' innovative abilities. The results show significant improvements in students' theoretical and practical aspects, with the integration of ideological and political education into innovation and entrepreneurship education effectively enhancing students' dual-creation abilities and positively impacting personal growth and career development. The study also discusses the successes and challenges of the reform, proposing future improvements including enhanced teaching facilities and practical approaches, and teacher development. This research underscores the importance and practical value of integrating ideological and political education into innovation and entrepreneurship education, significantly enhancing educational quality and student learning experiences.

Abstract: This research investigated school environment, teachers’ retention, and students’ academic achievement in Catholic secondary schools in Lagos State. Three research questions guided the investigation. It employed a correlational survey method adopting ex-post-facto design. The participants included fifty-one (51) principals and vice-principals working in all the Catholic secondary schools in Lagos State.  The sample for the study is made up of the entire population, principals, and vice principals in Catholic secondary schools in Lagos State. Census sampling method was utilized for the research. A self-developed questionnaire titled “School Environment and Teachers Retention” Questionnaire, (SETRQ)” was used by the researcher to gather information from the respondents. The questionnaire was administered to 13 respondents in Catholic secondary schools outside the area of study and their responses were computed using Cronbach alpha. The results showed that the school environment scale yielded co-efficient 0.82 while teachers’ retention yielded co-efficient 0.63. Mean scores and standard deviation were employed to answer research questions. The finding from the research identified substantial connection between school environment and academic outcome of learners in Catholic secondary education in Lagos State. Moreover, a favourable relationship between conducive environment and higher academic achievement was established. The study highlights the interaction between school environment, retention of teaching staff and academic attainment of students, emphasizing their benefit in the light of Catholic secondary schools in Lagos State. Arising from this investigation, it was suggested that Catholic schools in Lagos State should strive to boost a progressive academic environment for both tutors and learners. Schools should apply various ways to retain effective, hardworking, and experienced teachers. In addition, schools should continuously assess the standard of academic achievement, school environment, and human resource management practices.

Abstract: Green living is a standard of living which involves consciously reducing human activities that increases carbon trace. In Nigeria, sustainable green living forms a part of science teaching in the educational section. However, there lie some impediments towards achieving this education goal. Hence, this study sought to determine the impediment to and optimize strategies for implementing green living for sustainability. Descriptive research design was used for the study with a sample size of 77 science teachers in 10 Government owned secondary schools in Onitsha North local Government Area of Anambra State. There was no sampling since the population is manageable. Data collected were analyzed using mean and standard deviation. The findings of the study showed that that cost and socioeconomic status of individuals, lack of government support, ignorance of what green living is, complicated waste recycling and disposal system, transportation infrastructure, availability of green living infrastructures among others are impediments to green living. Moreover, the strategies the can facilitate the implementation of green living among others include the recycling of waste, production and use of eco-friendly materials, production and use of materials that can be recycled easily. Based on the findings, it was recommended among others that various sectors such as healthcare, agriculture and marketing should be encouraged to adopt green living in their professional practices to ensure that there is minimal or no harmful effect on the environment.

Abstract: This study investigated the role of school principals as agents of change within the context of Eswatini's high schools, with a specific focus on transformational leadership. The research aimed to understand how principals perceived their roles as change agents, the leadership strategies and behaviors they employed to initiate, implement, and sustain positive change, as well as the challenges they faced in these efforts. This qualitative case study conducted in-depth interviews with five school principals from selected high schools in Eswatini, gathering qualitative data on their experiences and leadership approaches as agents of change. Through thematic analysis, the findings revealed that school principals recognised their roles in driving meaningful change within their schools. Principals perceived themselves as visionary leaders who should inspire and motivate both staff and students toward continuous improvement. Transformational leadership emerged as the predominant leadership style employed by principals as agents of change. The findings revealed that principals employed strategies such as clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and prioritized teacher well-being, to create a positive school culture conducive to change. However, the study also identified challenges, including resistance to change, resource constraints, and the need to maintain teacher morale. The findings further indicated that school principals in Eswatini played a critical role as change agents and revealed the importance of transformational leadership in educational institutions. To support principals’ efforts as change agents the study recommends leadership development programs and increased resource allocation by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Abstract: English language skills in aviation play an important role in ensuring effective communication, safety, and operational efficiency within the global air transportation system. Aviation English, as a distinct branch of the language, is tailored to the specific needs of aviation. This specialized form of communication is essential in diverse settings, including aircraft maintenance operations. The sufficient application of English language skills is important among AMT students and tailoring the course to align with their distinct needs is more efficient than a one-size-fits-all approach. This study explores a comprehensive analysis of the English course within the Aircraft Maintenance (AMT) Program, focusing on identifying gaps in the existing course and propose specific measures for improvement. A mixed-methods approach integrating both quantitative and qualitative methodologies were used to provide a holistic understanding of the English course content in the AMT program. The results revealed that the current English course (Purposive Communication) had some gaps that needs to be addressed. Specifically, it lacked a strong focus of the four language skills and vocabulary development, essential for effective communication in aviation. The content topics and learning outcomes do not align with the language proficiency skills assessed in ICAO standards. Further, the study found that the program could be enhance by incorporating a tailored English course for AMT students that align with the English language skills that are perceived to be important by individuals working in the field of aircraft maintenance. These will enhance the English competencies of students, ensuring they are well-equipped to excel in the aviation industry.

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the learning performance in Science among Grade 4 learners of Jose Divinagracia Sr. Elementary School and used the result as a basis to develop an Intervention Learning Material (ILM) in Science. A 50-item Diagnostic Test was conducted emphasizing the identified competencies in Science 4. The overall results of the learning performance of Grade 4 learners in Science is 4.85 which implies that they performed Poorly in the five topics such as Bones and Muscles, Stomach, Intestines, Kidney, Heart and Lungs, and Brain. The study concludes an Intervention Learning Material that may help develop and address the low learning performance of the learners through digital tools integration. The proposed Intervention Learning Material was evaluated as satisfactory by the evaluators and is considered as a good medium to help learners master their learning competencies.

Abstract: This investigation was conducted to figure out which domain of self-efficacy best impacts bullying prevalence as this can bring issues to light to the planned recipients and potentially create activity that intends to enhance the school organization. The study used non-experimental design and correlational technique.The findings of this were specific to the Criminology students in General Santos City. There were 305 Criminology students as samples determined through Slovin’s formula and stratified random sampling procedure.Results demonstrated that the level of self-efficacy among Criminology Students is high; there is a noteworthy connection between bullying prevalence and self-efficacy and there is a positive critical connection between bullying predominance and self-efficacy as uncovered in the trial of relationship. The domain that best influences bullying prevalence is pro-social.
