Abstract: This descriptive-correlational study assesses the extent of language learning styles of college students at Sulu Stat College during the Academic Year 2022-2023. With 100 respondents, it employed frequency counts and percentage, weighted mean and standard deviation, t-test for independent samples and One-way ANOVA, and Pearson’s r. This study reveals the following findings: 1) Out of 100 respondents, great majority are female, are within 21 years old & below of age bracket, mostly from Arts and Sciences and Business Administration departments, and whose parents have high school level of education. 2) Generally, student-respondents agreed that language learning styles of college students at Sulu State College could possibly be as Visual Language, Auditory Numerical, Social Group, Visual Numerical, Kinesthetic-Tactile, Expressive Oral, Auditory Language, Social Individual, and Expressive–Written.  3) Generally, profile variables such as gender, age, and parent’s educational attainment do not intervene in ways how student-respondents assess the extent of language learning styles. 4) Student-respondents who generally perceived the extent of language learning styles in terms of Visual Language as “Strongly Agree” may sometimes be the same group of respondents who perceived the extent of Auditory Numerical, Social Group, Visual Numerical, Kinesthetic-Tactile, Expressive Oral, Auditory Language, Social Individual, and Expressive–Written as “Agree”, respectively. 5) This study tends to support Mkonto (2010) model of language learning styles which accounts that in the writing activity the participants will write about their prior learning experiences and how these experiences help or hinder effective learning.

Abstract: The school curriculum consists of formal, informal and non-formal dimensions. Informal dimension is the school environment that influences a learner’s behaviour. The common assumption is that participation in non-formal activities enhances perception and achievement in the formal curriculum. However, secondary schools in Kenya tend to emphasize more on formal curricula and non-formal activities (NFA) are given least emphasis. In Vihiga County, participation in non-formal activities has been reported to be as low as 25%, meaning that NFA were neglected and Literature reviewed indicated students’ achievement in Physics in the county was low. Physics County mean grade was a D (plain) over the period of 2006 to 2015 and was lower as compared to the national mean grade of C (minus). Objectives of the study were to: establish influence of participation in Science Congress activities on students’ achievement and establish influence of participation in Science Congress activities on students’ perception. Constructivist theory of learning informed the theoretical framework of the study. The independent variable of the study was scope of participation in Science Congress and dependent variables were perception and achievement. The study population was 1200 Form Four Physics students’ and 100 teachers of Physics. A sample size of 311 students and 35 Physics teachers was selected from 114 schools through stratified simple random sampling technique. Instruments for data collection were Student Perception Questionnaires (SPQs) and Physics Achievement Test (PAT). Qualitative data was presented by frequencies, percentages, means and standard deviations. Inferential statistics of correlation and independent t-test were used to analyse data. Descriptive data was analysed by use of thematic categories based on objectives of the study. The results showed that participants of Science Congress had highly significant perception mean scores towards Physics than non-participants. It was concluded that Science Congress activities influenced students’ perception and achievement in Physics at secondary schools.

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the significant relationship among student engagement, academic motivation, and academic performance of the Intermediate Level Students of Licup Elementary School. Utilizing descriptive correlational method of research and validated questionnaires in data analysis with Mean, and Pearson Product–Moment of Coefficient Correlation as statistical tools, results shows that there is no significant relationship among the three variables. In addition, results also indicated that the student engagement and academic motivation of the intermediate level students of Licup Elementary School is low, while the Academic Performance of the intermediate students is Satisfactory. It was also recommended that future researchers be encouraged to conduct this kind of research in a new location and to set to expand this kind of study.

Abstract: In recent years, Zhaoqing University has focused on strengthening undergraduate education and continuously optimizing its educational characteristics. Abstract: This study examined the relationship between Personality Traits and Academic Performance of Junior Secondary School Students in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Nigeria. The objective was to determine the relationship between personality trait of neuroticism and academic performance of  students and to find out the relationship between personality trait of extraversion and academic performance of the students and to find out the relationship between personality trait of openness to experience and academic performance of students in junior secondary schools in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja; it also determines the connection among personality trait of conscientiousness and academic performance of students in junior secondary schools in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja; and find out the relationship between personality trait of agreeableness and academic performance of students in junior secondary schools in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, The study was guided by seven research questions and five hypotheses. A correlational design was adapted while data was collected using the Big Five inventory on personality traits. The sample size used for the study was 402 and randomly selected. The findings revealed that there is a significant relationship between Students’ Personality Traits and their academic performance. It also indicated that there is a significant relationship between extroversion and students’ academic performance: however, a no significant relationship was obtained between student’s personality traits of neuroticism, conscientiousness, openness to experience and agreeableness and their students’ academic performance.

Abstract: This study aimed to find out the Prevalent Conflict Management Styles and the Dominant School Climate of Public Elementary School. The study used a descriptive survey method research design.  A survey questionnaire was used to gather the data desired.  Frequency count, percentage and weighted mean were the statistical tools used. Based on the analysis of the gathered data, the Prevalent Conflict Management Style of Public Elementary School is collaborating.  The dominant school climate of public elementary school is autonomous. The result further reveals that public elementary schools exhibit distinct conflict management styles and school climate.  It further bared that educational background and the number of years in service of administrator also plays significantly to its conflict management styles and school climate. The prevalent conflict management style of public elementary school is collaborating which exemplifies that the administrator can work jointly with others especially in an intellectual endeavor. Meanwhile the dominant school climate is autonomous which illustrates that the administrators provide freedom in decision-making, within a pre-agreed management framework.

Abstract: This study was aimed to assess the training needs of public-school teachers in Malapatan 1 District towards a proposed intervention program in addressing the Philippine Professional Standards for Teacher. The researchers used cross sectional survey that aimed at finding out the prevalence of the outcome of interest. Based on the findings of the study it was found out that in content knowledge and pedagogy was strongly needed while in the three domains: learning environment and diversity; curriculum and planning and assessment and reporting were much needed. It was also recommended that school heads are encouraged to consistently monitor and supervise the implementation of RPMS-PPST, Webinar Series and SLAC to address training needs of teachers and conduct School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) to teachers to all strongly needed in the four domains namely: Content knowledge and pedagogy, learning environment and diversity of learners, curriculum and planning and assessment and reporting.

Abstract: This study aimed to find out the extent of implementation of Brigada Eskwela in GSC Elementary School for the Arts to be used as basis for a proposed plan of action.  The study used the descriptive-survey method of research design.  A survey questionnaire adapted by the researcher was used to gather the data needed.  It was then validated by credible individuals and was administered to the respondents.  Weighted arithmetic mean was the statistical tool utilized in order to treat the data. Based on the analysis of the gathered data, Brigada Eskwela in GSC Elementary School for the Arts was highly implemented in which the situation described was true most of the time.  All the five areas under Brigada Eskwela which include Enrolment Preparation, School Leadership, Teacher, Learners, and Classroom Structuring/Physical Plant/Facilities were rated highly implemented by the respondents. The results of the study reveal that GSC Elementary School for the Arts still has to improve its practices and do more so that Brigada Eskwela will be very highly implemented.

Abstract: This study aimed to determine school principals' dominant leadership style and organizational environment in Apopong District. The analysis used a descriptive research method. A survey questionnaire was used to collect data. Frequency and percentage were used to treat the data gathered.  Results showed the dominant leadership style of the school principals of New Society Central Elementary School, Lanton Elementary School, GSC Elementary School for Arts and Lozano Elementary School was democratic, Paopao Elementary School principal was laissez-faire and Sinawal Elementary School’s principal, was autocratic. Consequently, the organizational climate of each school in Apopong District was supportive. The organizational climate when analyzed according to the school principal’s dominant leadership styles was supportive. Nevertheless, the school principals' leadership style can vary wherein teachers faced the same organizational environment. The implication of this study highlights the significant role of the dominant leadership style of school principals in shaping the organizational climate, emphasizing the need for effective leadership development programs and strategies that promote a positive and supportive work environment within educational institutions.

Abstract: An Industrial Attachment is a structured, college-graded work experience in a professional work setting during which the student applies and acquires knowledge and skills. It involves the application of learnt skills in an organization related to the student’s major. This study evaluated the effectiveness of industrial attachment training for students of the Bachelor of Purchasing and Supplies Management (BPSM) program of Murang’a University of Technology (MUT). Specific objectives for the study were, (1) To examine the adequacy of preparation for industrial attachment training for students of the BPSM program of Murang’a University of Technology, (2) To evaluate practical supply chain management experience gained in industrial attachment training for students of BPSM program of Murang’a University of Technology, (3) To identify the challenges experienced in industrial attachment training by students of BPSM program of Murang’a University of Technology, (4) To evaluate the effectiveness of industrial attachment training for students of BPSM program of Murang’a University of technology, (5) And finally, To determine strategies for effective management of the industrial attachment training for students of BPSM program of Murang’a University of Technology. The study population targeted all 112 fourth-year students of the Bachelor of Purchasing and Supplies management program of Murang’a University of technology for the academic year 2020/2021. A survey of all students was carried out by use of the questionnaire. Data collected were analyzed by use of SPSS and presented in tables. Key findings indicate that, the Public sector is the biggest supporter of industrial training, students were adequately prepared, Students were more exposed to store activities than as compared to other supply chain activities and the industrial training was effective in that the training provided an opportunity for students to link theoretical knowledge and practical experience. The study recommends that there should be adequate collaboration between the industry and the University to provide adequate industrial attachment to students.

Abstract: This study determined the parent participation in school management in Pilas District. The descriptive research method was used. The subjects of the study were the One Hundred Thirty (130) Parents-Teachers Community Association (PTCA) Officers of the Thirteen (13) Public Elementary Schools in Pilas District. A questionnaire was the instrument used in this study. The results of the study were: 1. The parents’ level of participation in the management of their child/ren’s school, in Curriculum Enhancement is ‘Low’; 2. Their levels of participation in School Governance, Community Development, and Student Activities are ‘Average’; 3. As a whole, their level of participation in school management is ‘Average’; 4. There are no significant differences between the extents of parent participation in school management in Pilas District, if the data is grouped according to age and gender; and 5. There are significant differences between the extents of parent participation in school management in Pilas District, if the data is grouped according to highest educational attainment.

Abstract: This study ascertained database and risk management competencies required of polytechnic OTM graduates in Gombe State, Nigeria for electronic records management. Two research questions and four null hypotheses guided the study. The study adopted survey research design, and 66 administrative supervisors were studied without sampling. A Self-developed questionnaire with 25 items which was face validated by experts in Business Education and Measurement and Evaluation were used for data collection. The reliability of the instrument was determined using pilot testing and data calculated analyzed using Cronbach Alpha formula which yielded correlation values of .91 and.85 for clusters B1 to B2 respectively with an overall reliability value of .88. Mean, standard deviation, ANOVA and t-test were used for data analysis. Findings showed that database management competencies, and risk management competencies were highly required of OTM graduates of polytechnics in Gombe State, Nigeria for electronic records management. Years of experience and educational attainment were not significant factors in the mean ratings of respondents on the extent database management competencies were required of OTM graduates of polytechnics for electronic records management. However, while years of experience did not moderate risk management skills, educational attainment moderated respondents’ opinions in this regard. Based on the findings of the study, the researchers concluded that; OTM graduates in polytechnics in Gombe State, Nigeria highly required database and risk management competencies for effective management of the institutions’ records. It was recommended that administrators of Nigerian polytechnics should constantly re-train OTM graduates working in their institutions by providing in-service programmes such as workshops, seminars and conferences to enable them up-date their database and risks management competencies for effective records management
