Abstract: There are many APQP’s in existing scenario  instead many OEM’s are facing  quality issues, and communication between the suppliers, OEM’s faces a big thread and the need of customer is to be  satisfied and to be  establish by  a systematic way, In the product life cycle management,  APQP is required for the  automobile industries to optimizing the cost, by developing this improved technique we can satisfy  the basic need of QCD  without any investments and also reducing additional wages towards this implementation by neglecting errors caused after the production can easily spotted at the earlier stages by deploying this improved  technique the production can be done effectively.

Abstract:This paper describes about the aluminum foundry industry. In neo-wheels industry, the car rims are manufactured by using aluminum alloy. They are manufactured in batch production format. These car rims required number of rework in the industry due to casting defects occurred in it. In this paper, causes of defects and remedies to reduce the same defect have been described in depth. The Pareto chart has been considered to identify major defects and after applying the remedies, the reduction in the rework is recorded. This data has been displayed by use of quality control tools. The cause diagram or the Ishikawa diagram has been made for three major remedies. At the end, rework reduced by the implication of such remedies is studied and emphasized upon ahead. It describes us to maintain quality and to improve it with the help of SQC tools.

Abstract: This project work is on the design and construction of automatic phase selector and changeover switch for 3-phase power supply. It provides a means of switching from one phase of AC mains to another in the case of failure in the existing phase; it also change over to generator if there is failure in all the three phases of the AC mains. The circuit also senses the restoration of any or all the three phases of the mains and changeover without any notice of power outage. This project has been improved on the existing types of electromechanical device that has being in use over the years. Hence this has been achieved by the use of 1- of - 4 analogue multiplexers (CD4052), analogue to digital converter (ADC0804), AT89C51 microcontroller and relay switches.

Abstract: According to the principle of EDM proposes a method for preparing copper nano-particles. With copper as a raw material in deionized water for EDM, and the product was isolated and purified. On this basis! By SEM and EDS purified product was analyzed in detail, the results showed copper nanoparticles diameter of about 30nm, and even its size, through theoretical analysis and experimental comparison, preliminary study of the origin and formation of nanoparticles.

Abstract: The paper examines the performance of a unified power flow controller (UPFC) on the electrical power transmission network. The UPFC performance is investigated in controlling load flow over the transmission lines. Voltage source system is utilized to study the behavior of the UPFC in management the active power, reactive power, voltage profile of the system; and the UPFC is used to relief power congestion of the transmission system. The model consist combined equations of UPFC and the balance power equations of the network into one set of non-linear algebraic equations. Case studies were carried out on five standards bus network and the load flow option of the powergui block was used; the model was initialized with plant 1 and 2 generating 500MW and 1000MW respectively, with the simulation is conducted by Matlab/simulink environment. The results of the network with and without UPFC were compared in terms of active and reactive power flows in the line, and the active and reactive power flows at the buses were used to analyze the performance of the UPFC.
